Curious
about the show? Wondering where we get all out hilarious ideas?
Oh.
Well,
for other questions, of which some, perhaps, are of interest, we
have the one and only Victoria here to answer them!

|
What
is this thing? |
| |
This
is The AnteriorLobe Show! A hilarious web comic about the adventures
of a bunch of rendered people and talking dinosaurs!
Okay, maybe "hilarious" is asking for
too much. How about "mildly humorous"? Please...
|
| |
|
| |
This
"show" is just about your website? |
| |
No,
of course not. That is just the premise of the "show." The
characters will have all sorts of wacky adventures. In other words
after a couple of episodes there will be a plot. Sort of. |
| |
|
| |
What's
the deal with the talking dinosaurs? |
| |
Hey,
everyone loves dinosaurs, right? And don't you think that Gallimimus
just screams "wacky sidekick"?
Well, I do, and after buying a bunch of dinos from
DAZ 3D I figured I'd put them
to use.
|
| |
|
| |
Where
are they? I've seen desks and stuff, but no walls. |
| |
One
answer is that they are in "Poser Space," although this
distinction won't mean anything until I get to the episodes where
Gallimimus travels to "Bryce Space." In that one, with
Bryce renders, there will be a ground, sky, etc.
The
second answer is that they are in The AnteriorLobe Show building.
I don't show the walls, doors, windows, etc., because this isn't
a serious comic at all, and it would just be a distraction. Oh,
I kid. Actually I am just to lazy to set that all up, but the previous
answer sounds good too. |

Characters |
| |
Is
Evil Vicky the evil twin of Victoria? |
| |
Well,
they're both modeled using the Victoria 3.0 RR mesh, but in my little
world they are not related. Evil Vicky just happens to look like Victoria
and be evil. |
| |
|
| |
What
is the deal with the Styracosaurus? |
| |
This
guy is Evil Vicky's henchman, well, hench-saur. Turns out she doesn't
pay too well, so she didn't get the pick of available applicants. |
| |
|
| |
Why
does the Brontosaurus have a regular name? |
| |
First,
Lewis is an Apatosaur, not a Brontosaurus (new name for the same
dino). And he has a name because...um, it just sounded right. No
other reason than that.
Lewis
is a highly trained thespian who was unable to get the part of co-host
(which went to Gallimimus) or hench-saur. He was hired as the receptionist.
Lewis
is bitter. Very, very bitter. |

|
| Non-Canonical |
| |
Okay,
so what is this? |
| |
Non-Canonical
is a 6-panel cartoon which is supposed to give a "behind the
scenes" look to what goes on at The AnteriorLobe Show. So it
has the same characters, Victoria, Gallimimus, etc. |
| |
|
| |
I
don't see it, where is it? |
| |
Hopefully
by the time you read this Non-Canonical will be on the comics page
of Renderosity. You can get to that from the main page (the Front
Page, they call it) by scrolling down a bit. |
| |
|
| |
Is
it really "non-canonical"? That seems absurdly pretentious. |
| |
Yeah,
I know. I just liked that name.
The
AnteriorLobe Show doesn't contain enough material, and certainly
isn't popular enough, to have a "canon" in the first place.
But, I would say that both the cartoon and the full The AnteriorLobe
Show take place in the same universe. It may be a sad little universe,
but it has room for both.
So,
in that sense Non-Canonical actually is canonical. |

I
have a complaint! Your web site stinks! |
| |
Hmm,
well Gallimimus also thinks it stinks so you're in good company.
